Trouble adjusting SAW 2.0 coilovers

Is it just me or are these coilovers ridiculously difficult to crank up? So I tried to crank them up before I installed them which didn't work because the spring and top mount kept spinning. So I installed them in the truck but now the UCA is in the way so I couldn't get the spanner wrench in there. Then I jacked up the LCA to simulate the suspension being loaded, now I can adjust them but because the weight is on the spring they are crazy hard to turn the adjusting collar! So I only cranked them so that about 1.25'' of thread is showing on top and I was just too exhausted to crank them up any more than that. Any help is appreciated.

 

you have to jack the truck up so the wheels are off the ground. and did you loosen the set screw on the collar. my 2.5's were a pita as well.

 

I did that but the UCA was drooped down and in the way so I had no other choice than to jack it up by the LCA which loads the spring. And yes I did loosen the set screw.

 

the best way i found was to leave the truck alone, don't jack anything and lube the threads then turn as hard as you can.

 

But if I just have the truck as is, not jacked up or anything, I can't even get the spanner in there because the UCA is in the way.

 

can you take a pic of the uca at stock height, i had enough room like said above. about a 1/4 turn at a time.
