I'm interested in it man, whats the diameter of where the clamp is, Wondering if it will go on my 2016 2.7L!

 

moe2o4, looks like it will fit around a 2 1/4" pipe. It came off my 2016 V6. I will try to find a part number for it tomorrow.

 

Cause this is what my exhaust tip measures.

 

The tip clamps around the necked down area inboard of the part that you measured.

 

Im interested if moe2o4 decides he doesn't want it.

 

So you slide it over the bigger part and it Clamps onto the smaller part. If that's the case I'll take it!

These are nice. I bought one at the stealership, 75 bucks with tax. Spiffed up SR 2.7 tailpipe.

 

So measured the smaller diameter on the tail pipe and it measures 2.38".

So @mobilerd this tip will fit my 2016 SR 5 speed exhaust?

 

I wish I could tell you for 100% sure it will fit, but I can't. What I can tell you is while at the dealership I looked at about ten different new Tacomas, all trim levels, V6, I4's, 4x4's etc. All had the same exhaust tips. Only difference was some had this chrome tip bolted on some didn't. I checked because parts counter people at said dealership are clueless.

 

Maybe @Hobbs can measure that one he has and match them up to my dimensions and see if they are the same but if it matches up I'd love to have it!

Yep, 2.388" on the pipe and 2.729" on the flared end.

 

So you just slide it over the end and then tighten it up?

 

Just curious how you slide the 2.38 over the 2.72?
