    yeah, Fox butchered it, kept moving it around, didn't air the original pilot (later released as the movie Serenity), kept preempting it for sports, and in general screwed it over.

    btw, that milky way shot, oops, not 30 seconds, I meant, THREE MINUTE exposures.

    30s is about the max you can get away with using a wide angle lens and a fixed tripod, and even then the stars are somewhat 'smeared' in the direction of rotation. this is a 30s exposure...

    Same here. While I've seen Firefly, my brain went to Star wars, but I recognized the Firefly reference vaguely. Good show, kinda wish it had kept on for a few more seasons.
