I peeled off the full backing, making sure the top covering of the decal was the only thing holding it together. Laid decal at pre marked edges and used a thick plastic wide bladed putty knife to smooth as I went. The top covering of the decal provides protection of the decal while smoothing out the air bubbles. Once completely on I peeled off the top cover carefully. It was painstakingly slow but worked well for me.

I have been thinking about that bug guard. Nice to see it on the same color truck to help with the decision. Think I'm going to pull the trigger.

I am thinking about painting my grill insert satin black, don't like all the chrome... Have had good luck with Krylon fusion in the past, any comments from anyone?

Check out youtube for the "hinge" method. I work in a sign shop and do vinyl all the time. The easiest way to install vinyl without wrinkles and bubbles is by hinging the middle and doing half at a time!

20160419_155216.jpg 20160419_155226.jpg Well after about three weeks...i finally got my RCI sliders in today and will post a pic of em after install. While waiting for em to come in I added an AVS bugflcetor 2 and tinted the windows. The window tint is 20% and matches in peron every bit as well as in the pic.

Did you remove the whole scoop piece to do this? If so, was it difficult to do?

    Thanks

I recently put the same on mine...if you want to take it off or for anyone who is interested, it does use machine screws that utilize plastic insterts in factory holes under the endge of the hood (same principle as drywall anchors) very well engineered. No drilling nor cutting of the hood.

Truck is still about a week and a half from being delivered. Wheels and tires currently waiting in the garage.

Loaded the bikes for a Montana triathalon: drive, bike and hike. Drove to McDonald Lodge in Glacier, biked to Avalanche campground and hiked to Avalanche lake.

It's been warm out here, so Yogi has come out early this year. Good thing we were packing bear spray.
