In MA, I can go wherever I want, in more conservative states, I think I'm limited to the men's room.

Under the back seat foot area there is a rubber grommet about 5in from the frame, that's were I ran my wire. From there I fished it over to the opening under the console. I've got my radio in the center console too.

I didn't look. I wouldn't want to either. Actually I could just look to see if they put a sticker put on the car. They put a biohazard sticker on cars that have a lot of blood

I ran my wire the same way.

I'm actually changing up my CB setup (again). I cannot get a good SWR with the NGP Firestik (the best I could get was a 1.8 - 2.2) no matter how much I adjusted it, so I'm going to go with a grounded 4' unit on a hood hinge mount with a quick disconnect so I can run it year round. I know the Cobra 75WX isn't particularly powerful, but I got the feeling it wasn't working at all.

I'll be putting my 4' NGP antenna for sale at some point if anyone is interested. It's been in my bed and bounced around a bit, but I can only assume it's still in good condition. Once my contractor finally starts work on my garage, I'll be able to build a cap hoist, get the cap off the truck and then unhook my antenna mount.

Patience has not been my strong point recently.

I'm finding absolutely nothing in the car market. My GoPro camera I bought back almost two weeks ago still isn't here since UPS mishandled the package a few times. I've got a few house projects in the works that I'm waiting for contractors to call me about. I have a tree that National Grid agreed to take down, but it's been 3 weeks and still nothing. I contacted them and they just gave me the number of the tree company who is supposedly doing the work, which ended up just being a cell phone number, which I have zero confidence in being the actual company. Normally, not an issue, but I'm having work on my driveway done. I called the paving company last Monday to see what their schedule was, and they told me they'd call this past Monday to confirm this week. Monday came and no call, so I called them. They called yesterday and told me they'd contact me today to let me know which day this week they'd be by. Of course they didn't call me today. They gave me a great price for the work, so I can afford to be a bit flexible on the time, but please, call me when you say you're going to call me. I also have work being done on my garage, which isn't a small project in itself (adding an entry door between the house and garage while modifying the garage structure to allow it), and my contractor keeps pushing me off week by week. Like the paving company, I have full confidence the work will get done, but I just want him to say, I will start on XX of month XX. I don't mind if it's even sometime in June, just give me a date. I also am trying to keep the driveway available for him so he can pull his truck in and out to do work.

I won't even get into the fact a furniture company ruined a chunk of my hardwood and it's been pulling teeth dealing with them so far. Once everything is resolved, I'll have to post a full timeline on that one.

I apologize for the whining, but I'm beating my head against a wall, and I think the wife, my Mom and my best friend are sick of hearing me talk about it.

I understand how you feel. I've been waiting for my siding contractor to let me know when he'll be able to start the job - not actually do the job but just give me a date when he will think he can do it. So far it's been I'll let you know in 2-3 weeks more than a few 2-3 week cycles ago. At least I know he does a good job and is very fair in price. Here's what I tell myself:

    1. You can have the job done fast.
    2. You can have an inexpensive price.
    3. You can have a high quality job.

Pick any two - you can't have all three...

    Exactly, that's 100% where I'm at.

I think it's a case of having four things going on at once, but not one of them will actually start. I'm excited to get all this work done, but I want it to start!
