So how is the new trans compared to the first stock one? Did I miss that?

Which part? The part where I said I had a car with 65,000 miles on it or the fact that $39,000 isn't all that much for a new car these days unfortunately.

Color matched door handles, Weathertech floor liners, bed mat, Durafit seat covers, tailgate clamp, 2016 TRD Sport 17" wheels with Yokohama Geolander AT tires , Toyota exhaust tip, Toyota/Yakima bike rail mount, Toyota wheel locks, Toyota hitch cover, Redline hood struts, unifilter on air pump.
Just for clarification, GM does not sell new automatic transmissions. They are remanufactured and are usually trouble free.

Yes, I have a 2015 Black DCLB SR5 4x4 with tow package 6,100 miles and the 2016 Inferno DCSB Off Road with 2,050 miles. I will keep one.

I did not get in to comparing before and after. I just said I was happy with the truck when I got it back.
My trans issue was not what most are complaining about. I had a hard shift at low speed/RPMs from 1st to 2nd gear upshifting only. I had no problems with erratic shifting, slipping, vibrating or clunking when coming to a stop.

I get what you're saying completely Goose. It's a brand new vehicle that is covered under a manufacturers warranty and there is nothing wrong with expecting them to use new OEM parts to fix it.

That was not me expecting or not expecting OEM parts. I merely wanted input as to what people thought about a reman trans. I had some very good feedback. Thank you to those members. To the others that responded. I would encourage you to read the posts before adding your dribble!

Now for the last time. I am completely satisfied with my "reman" trans. Shifts much better than before and it has a great warranty.

I may have a better trans than most. I do have to laugh when people start ripping their new trucks up. Adding lift kits and a bunch of mods. Then come on here saying. Hey, your truck isn't any good because you have a reman trans in it. Geez REALLY!

Please lock this thread up it has more than ran its course.

If it was me they would be putting OEM parts in it. This notion that you are not entitled to OEM parts on a brand new truck that is covered under warranty is laughable.
