I need to change my oil myself this weekend for the first time since I bought this truck 09 v6 Tacoma, when I purchased the truck it didn't have a manual so I was just wondering how many quarts it takes with a new filter and what oil you guys recommended to be used in it conventicle oil .

Make sure you have a large enough and deep enough catch pan. Oil comes out quick.
