Wow, talk about utilizing your truck.
Oz-t, what kind of rear spring set-up are you using. I assume those are Douglas fur beams your hauling and no sagging at all, incredible. I had to haul about 1400 lbs of tile/thin set in mine before the lift/ aal and it was almost dragging the ground.

Cowtaquito, that's a big load as well, impressive!

 

I own a small cabinet shop so my truck moves cabinets and such around. Mostly pulling a 5x10 trailer. Cool to see some other construction guys on here.

 

I've always respected cabinet guys. Lots of time, care, and precision as well as expensive power tools involved. I've been a finish carpenter since the 90's and installed lots of cabinets in my time. Made many attempts at building them myself, but learned that somethings are best left to the experts who do it for a living.

 

I have Dakar leaf packs , the timbers are 10' Western Red Cedar 6x6

 

That's right your up in BC. Red cedar is pricey down here. We do have several cypress mills though.

Here's my deer stand framed in treated southern pine and clad in cypress lap siding. Wish we had more of the red cedar available. Also a pic from a fella that has a local mill and built a table out of local cedar.
