Damn you have a cool life
In the process of. I know he's super busy lately. Their summit series came in a late shipment and there was some dock strike or something.
Thats what I wanted to hear. Thanks.

just FYI I got the telescoping ladder from tepui for my cvt tent cause I didn't want the sliding ladder. I also kept browsing for the ladder from cvt to upgrade but always out of stock so I just thought tepui would work. nope the tepui ladder is wider where the bolts meet the bracket so I had to add all the washer that tepui had and the cvt and barely get it tightened up so yeah if you do get a tepui ladder for a cvt get a longer plastic washer and somewhat longer bolt to get it to fit I just ended up taking mine off and putting the stock ladder back on and keep the tepui ladder as a backup

that's the thing I do have a cvt tent and thought I could retrofit that ladder and it works I got on it and climbed in and all but again need longer plastic washer and little longer bolt and drill another hole for the bracket to somewhat match or get closed to on each side

The ladder brackets can be moved if needed to fit a wider ladder, you just need to redrill new holes for the brackets. I've done a few myself for people. NBD.

As soon as we've got them back in stock in May, my cost is $113 + shipping. Typically $15-30 to ship depending on where you're located.

Then yes. Shipping cost would go up just a bit because of the extra weight but not much and it would be pretty cheap anyway with you guys in SOCAL.

Any body have issues running RTTs on Leer campers? Just scored one on craigs and threw up a Thule rack system. Plan on running my Ayer up there. Haven't heard of issues but curious what you guys think

    Looking for some input.

CVT Mt Shasta in the new Summit line with stargazer, Tepui Autana Rugged, or Ez Awn 1600 T Top?

    My requirements:
    2+ up top
    Lower annex room
    Overhang so ladder is internal.
    Extreme cold and hot environments.

    Price
    CVT $2195
    Tepui $2125
    EzAwn $3600

    Size Closed
    CVT 56" × 48" × 15"
    Tepui 56" x 48" x 12"
    EzAwn 63" x 48" x 11"

    Size Open
    CVT 56" × 96" x 49"
    Tepui 56" x 122" x 52"
    EzAwn 63" x 96" x 51"

    Sleeping Size
    CVT 56" x 96"
    Tepui 56" x 96"
    EzAwn 63" x 78"

    Weight
CVT 125 lbs + whatever Summit Series adds
    Tepui 195 lbs
EzAwn 172 lbs, 205lbs with annex

Not looking at the price I like the EzAwn size and weight over the others. Sleeping size and closed height I really like.

CVT is the only one with a "sky view" that can be added. Tepui doesn't haven't it on the rugged to my knowledge. EzAwn doesn't have it all.

Looking for some good input as to what you all would recommend.

I have my Shasta on a leer with Thule bars. Haven't had any issues. You'll be fine. Just have to remember static weight is a lot different than dynamic weight.

I sent Adam @Box Rocket a PM yesterday asking him nearly the exact thing. Which Tepui tent compares best to the Mt Shasta Summit Series. I'll forward his response to you.
