You can always join up in a caravan with some of the other CO members going, great chance to meet new friends that all have the same interests.

Question is well it be better than the ribs i smoked for an hour with a dry rub then wrapped in bacon and slathered in JD no.7 BBQ sauce and moved over top of the charcoals to finish cooking?

the secret to making my ribs taste so good is they take like 3 hours to cook so by the time they are done your fucking drunk and they could be burnt but you won't care.

What hammock & quilt set up do you have? Hopefully you plan on bringing a tarp a well. I forgot my tarp 1st year and thankfully didn't get hit with rain.

Good point. I'll need to get a better cover. I've been lucky I guess the few times I've camped with it.
    It's an eno double nest.

If you don't have a tarp, specifically meant for hammock camping...I can bring one and let you borrow it while you are there. I'm in a house with the Pelfreys and then have the RTT as well for the few nights I'll be camping, so I won't need either of my tarps.

Should have gone with a warbonnet blackbird, small cottage industry company and they are in state somewhere outside of Denver.

How do you guys typically hang your hammocks out there? Are there trees at the campsite?

Yeah anchor it to the truck and a tree a lot of the time. Like I said, never used a hammock in Moab just a ground tent. This year I may try to camp at a couple different locations in Moab. But yes there are some small trees in BFE

I have hammock camped the last 3 years I have been to RT. There are small tree's you can hang tree straps from, or as Noah suggested just hang one end from a truck bumper and the other to a tree or another truck for that matter. If you plan on hammock camping at BFE, you shouldn't have any problems finding suitable tree's to hang from.
