It's not fair.... Here in Oregon we got about two inches and then it turned into just rain. It's just not right.

Still snowing hard here in CT. Gassed up the snowblower yesterday, I'll be out there in a bit.

We've got about 10 inches right now, and it's still going strong. My wife and I moved into our first house this past august, we have 2 acres of land and a relatively short but wide driveway. We had to make a decision - only enough cash to spend on either a riding mower or a snow blower. Went with the mower, but right now i'd give my left nut for a snow blower....

how come the storm went right by us? I actually went out side and shoveled my drive way and side walks because there was less than an inch and the snow stopped falling. Usually with 5 or 6 inches of snow and using the snow blower, it takes me around 2 hours to do everything, it took me half an hour to shovel.

That's weird. I don't know, maybe it stayed closer to the coast? Westfield's out near Springfield, right? I'd have thought you guys out in the central and western parts of MA would have gotten even more than us.

We live near the RI, CT border, about halfway between the coast and the Mass line. The storm seemed to be more coastal. we got about 20" here.

I bought this snowblower used on E-Bay a few years ago for $400. Money well spent.

I didn't do the ruler check to see how much snow we had, but the yellow you can see in the bottom left hand corner is the top of the kid's picnic table. You can see how much is piled in the patio chairs. (I don't know how to attach the large pics to the thread, sorry!)
