Something i been wondering... My tires are suppose to be filled to 29psi.... But when i first turn the truck on they read 27... After they warm up they reach 29psi...

So Should i add air so they read 29 when cold, or it's it correct as is since they reach 29 when warmed up?

Plus the tpms on the truck isn't completely accurate. My reads 3-4 low. So when it reads 37 I'm actually at 40.

Mine are not the "normal" stock tires either. BFG rugged terrain t/a. 265 65 17.... And XD rockstar 2 wheels. Came with the XP package.

So are you saying they Should read the recommended level cold? Says cold psi on the door sticker... But maybe like you say the tpms is off by a couple... Weird they all read the same though.

Wondering if i Should add a couple psi... I'll double check psi with an accurate gauge

Anyone moderating this thread to keep it on track? Why don't we start another thread where everyone can slap Newton in the face with their MPG claims.

I had tint installed on my Access Cab.

I went with Llumar instead of 3M. Rear is 5% which was darker than 3M 5%. Front sides are 40% which is about 3M's 55%. I think the front sides are a little too dark, and Bay Area Cops will most likely pull me over.

Set your psi high and then chalk test it.

Since we are talking MPG. If I put 275/70/17s on a TRD OR, how would that effect my odo and MPG reading. Mine currently is reading about 16MPG town and 19MPG hilly hiways.

There is a setting in the detailed navigation system that will adjust for changing your tires

I heard that, but will it change the calculated MPG/Odo on the information screen (behind the steering wheel) or just information on the NAV screen?
