Never been screwed by a group buy and no butthurt. These GB are a joke and save very little money, EVER. I wouldn't ever be part of a group buy giving money to someone I don't know a damn thing about, and sure the hell wouldn't give them my money. GB's are a joke unless done by the vendor or manufacturer, even then, some of them have screwed people.
Speaking of shitting on a GB. @mahaloTaco proved his worth by posting a link to this thread in the ARB GB where people have been waiting for snorkels because the vendor didn't verify it could meet the needs of the GB. Was that just to rub in the failed effort of THAT group buy, or is he just that big of a dick? Karma is a bitch when he cannot fulfill this GB and people want their money back.

Oh well. If I get it I get it. Wouldn't risk my money if I couldn't afford to lose it.

If you payed for goods/services. There is no refuting "friends and family" payments afaik.

NOPE, you are screwed if this dude bails on this since he requested payment via "friends and family". His story about the return to the one guy about his "echeck" is bullshit, too. It takes a week or so to clear when used as payment, but he can refund it immediately after the check cleared. Anyone say, Skygear?

Is there any way I can get in on this? @BabyTaco has me terrified since I have my inner fender out by my intake that I may do some major damage. Sounds like snorkel is the solution.

Scaring people into the GB. SUCCESSSSSSS. But seriously, good plan. If you are a v6 you can just disconnect your air intake from the fender and suck from the engine bay to be safe.
