sttuggling between these two. Is the 500$ more for the fox worth it. I've searched a ton. Just can't tell enough of a difference to know. Does one have more down travel. And is the price with it for fox?

They both are excellent options, and both basically a 2.5" Diameter Shock Body. Some difference in the piston design and they valving. Can't go wrong with either setup. The 6112s certainly save money, but if you really want to mess with fine tuning the ride height, then the Fox would be the way to go.

will the resivors make a difference on one setup vs. the other? if i go with a bigger kit i can do front resivors for not much more. only 200.

The resi comes into play when you are really pushing the vehicle hard and the shocks start to get hot. The increased oil capacity decreases the chance that the shocks will loose their dampening ability. Other wise they dampening between resi and non-resi is the same.

@YotaDan any drawback to the 6112's since these require your existing strut upper mount plates, stem cushions and washers?

Yes the 6112 should get more love from anyone who is in the market for OLD MAN parts. Same price range and the spring can hold a bumper up no problem, this is a no bs option that should fit 99% of peoples needs. German engineering over Australian/Chinese for me.

thanks for the info. im leaning towards fox for the adjustability and they can be rebuilt. But the 6112 is still on my mind.

I believe the 6112's can be rebuilt as well. Although it does not have the adjust ability that the fox kit above has.

I was looking at both of these (mainly Fox Level 2), but now I've decided to buy ADS when Marie works out the pricing/specs.

Yes i ended up with fox. multiple reasons for doing so. mostly around the fact that they are rebuild able instead of a full replace. And they are far more adjustable than the billies so i can get them to where i need them with a lot more fine tuning.
