Hahaha agreed, in my defense i was wearing my riding gloves and taking a quick on.
I love it i think its the only way to go if you have a short bed. And no rubbing or paint wearing the pads have a nice soft liner on the inside.

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
I did that for the first 5 tanks and compared to what the computer told me. The computer is dead on. So no need for math. I feel as though i can safely rely on the computer.

Added a bedmat today; excellent cheap upgrade...no more sliding around of the stuff in the back.

Was selling for $109 from the dealer...told them that someone on here got it for $87 (think I read that somewhere around here); walked out the door having paid $93 with tax. Awesome.

... ^^^ ... I was very surprised (after manually checking it several times) how accurate the computer was.

Picked up my topper, ARE Z Series w/ rails and e-lock thingy. Going back tomorrow to have a pop and lock put in the tailgate. Turns out my dealer installs them for just a few bucks more than pop and lock sells them.

ordered some lund rock rails [IMG]

600 bucks from autoanything for that package and i got them to price match down to 362 and then had some paypal credit from selling parts on TW and ended up only paying 240 and change out of pocket. I call them lady steps, as my lady requested some.

~180 pounds, just four C-clamps and a wiring harness. I don't plan on ever removing mine, but a buddy of mine has one on a longer bed truck and removes it a few times per year on his own without incident.

If you don't want to fiddle with a second/manual key then yeah! The e-lock on my topper is tied in with the door locks, so will the pop and lock. Paying $125 installed.

it is an actuator that wires into the trucks power door locks so your tailgate locks and unlocks with your keyless. No more having to have that key in the truck so you can lock your tailgate and not get it stolen. I just installed mine today

Installed RKSPORT fiberglass hood with a functional hood scoop! Got a small tour of their location, awesome people and all their products are made in the US, again a big thanks to Cesar from RKSPORT.

Hoods will be up for sale on their website later this week www.rksport.com and hopefully will get a Discount Code for those who are interested!!
