    I stopped replying to threads like that. I get so wound up about 2 or 3 specific topics that I just don't go there anymore. I can't personally change anyone. I could find the hardest problem someone has had for a year. Do it in record time. Take it up the ass and not got paid for it. Make sure the car is like new looking. And they still wouldn't be happy with something. The only thing I can do is make sure i treat the ones in my bay right like I would want to be treated even if they are the biggest lying assholes to walk through the door. So I do my job, I do it right, and I move on. I work at a stealership no matter what we do as a company to prove not be one. So I gave up. My heart knows my work. I sleep well...

    I think a lot of the problem is finding good help. Excellent old school mechanics like our gifted friend Mike are hard to come by. It goes with a lot of the building trades also. When a seasoned mechanic retires, there's not enough young folks filling those spots. Mike must get frustrated at the skill level that walks in the door. My go to guy at my dealership just retired after 30+ years. Now I have to bend some ears, and score another good tech out there. Or sell the Taco and get a 70's Nova or Camaro that isn't computerized! Lol!!
