Year of truck , model , 4x4 ? or 2 wheel drive , motor size ? auto or manual transmission ?
I am assuming you had a computer scan performed and this is a code thats popping up

I know dick about codes and stuff but i entered that code into the universal code list generator and definition database that covers any code found in any car in the world. It's called google.

 

Well that's what I normal do is google. When type in p2a00 code on google it say A/F sensor bank#1 sensor#1. By the way I have 2004 Toyota Tacoma create cab 6 cylinder 4x4 auto 111700 miles. Didn't put in the sensor but did try that spacer trick I read about also just did plugs(ngk) n wires. Fail inspection n engine light still on. Almost forgot during this process the truck has a surge. When driving along its fast then slow fast then slow. I thought from rebooting the computer cause it to run like that but it still doin it. Can a guy get some help?

Hi everybody, I took care of the p2a00 code(replaced the a/f air ratio sensor bank1 sensor 1) after that the truck ran much better n I thought the problem was fix. Neigh neigh. Couple day later engine light back on plugged in the OBD N p0420 came up. Is the any help

 

Possibly the Cat Converter is bad.

 

you can try and run some cataclean through your system and maybe do the seafoam cleaning through the intake. see if that helps.
