What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Anyone else having problems with their odometer reading when they get down to 1/4 tank? It seems when I get down to a 1/4 tank the miles to empty read out increases drastically. My drive to work is 10 miles one way but when the tank drops down to under a 1/4 it reads out at about 15-17 miles. Just wondering if others are having this problem?? Thanks!!!

 

Not sure exactly what you're saying ... are you saying it's only 10 miles to work but your odometer shows you went 15-17 miles??

 

yep that's exactly what I am say. I am probably only going 1/2 mile but the odometer say a mile, only happens when I get below 1/4 tank. Read out might say 35 miles to empty and the next thing you know it say 27 when I have only gone about 2 miles?? Very weird

 

Now I'm confused. Are you saying the ODO goes further or that your 'Miles to Empty' drops drastically

yes my miles to empty drops drastically way faster than the actual miles it might say I have driven 8 miles when actually I have only driven 2-3 miles
