It holds each gear to a little higher RPM before upshifting for that extra UMPH:) kind of like "cowboys" the gears for ya

Yeah, especially if you want to hit the mud, need them self cleaning AT tires, or else you'll be spinning out all day long.

Although I have to admit Will, they gave you some nice FAT tires that look like good all-weather treads.

You know, Will-IMO I dont care for that feature too much and here's why: our tranny has a "lockout torque converter"-at about 52MPH it kicks in and you really get 'direct drive' torque then as if you had a manual. When you switch on the 'ECT' it seems you lose that torque in lieu of RPM's. I'd personally rather have the torque! Try this: with OD off, accelerate to 60 MPH. When you reach 50-54MPH you'll feel an extra 'halfshift' and you'll sink back into the seat a little too:D that's your lockout torque converter in action! I'd rather do my own manual shifting when neccessary. EDIT: I should add that "ETC" is pretty effective off the line and around town though-above I was speaking of the freeway speeds:). Around town you'll find it makes the truck a little 'zippier'

    SWEET LOOKING TRUCK MAN!

if i go and you arent ready to wheel im sure i'll need a copilot/spotter/camera guy

you can shift into 4hi while rolling...preferably slowly...shift tranny into n to shift the tcase into n or 4lo...same to take it out...tranny must be in n to shift out of 4lo

LOL, Mine did! I split one like a bagel, an tore the tread off the other 3. Since I had only 1 spare, it went on the wasted tire, and I had to drive back to town with my 3 other tires treads flopping arround the tires. The whole dam truck was jumping around. People were pulling up to me and honking, saying "Hey, your tires!". I replied "What?, No they are ok, they are sopposed to do that". I had to drive them that way for 70+ miles. :D
