Oh, I forgot to mention, I put the wire you run under the truck in split loom and zipped tied it to the stock wiring. It made it look like it was stock. Don't know if you are as crazy as I am but I think it was worth the time.

Here's what I did today. Trying to mock up an 8 or 9 switch panel for the left side of the steering column. (Bed light switch will be relocated).IMG_1014.jpg

The "miles to empty" is based on average fuel consumption...I wonder if it changes real time based on how much of a lead foot you are at the time, using a/c etc? :notsure:

edit: I came late to the game, night shift problems, carry on.

Theoretically, the pump is tested to be accurate "regularly" and a calculator shouldn't be a problem. But the ODO may or may not be accurate....hope it's atleast consistent based on tire size, etc.

I don't care too much, but I like to track...I usually peek at the Tacoma before I fill up then enter my stuff in my fuelly app. From what I recall, fuelly seems to tell me I got approx. 1mpg better than my Tacoma does every time.

I will add to this conversation that I have noticed, when I watch the fuel thrust bar.if I go about 2 miles an hour above what I want you to and step off the gas and lightly come back on the gas, I can average almost 2 miles a gallon better Mpg.. I've been playing with this for about 10 tanks now.

Yeah kinda dark greenish blue I guess. Too bad they're not black. I don't remember having a color option on the order page but whatever.

Once you put them in, you have to actually work just to see them, so it's probably a non-issue in the end

It does. I left work yesterday with 250 miles to empty. I drove 35 miles in moderate interstate traffic, which kept me around 60mph. I got home with 242 miles to empty.
