    My "Miles to Empty" was down to 12 miles when I stopped to fill up the other day. I could only put in 18 gallons so that sort of tells me that there is some leeway allowed for going past "empty". We have 21 gallon tanks on these Tacos so I probably could have driven at least another 30 or 40 miles before I actually ran out of gas. Good to know, but I am not gonna try it.

    I am guessing that the fuel sloshes more in the tank when the gas is lower ? I am used to a lot of vehicles that seem to stay on full for a long time then go down fast. Also when I am on a level surface the gauge may read 1/4 tank, on a hill it reads 1/8 tank . I am assuming that the miles to empty system and the gauges use the same float or whatever for both .
