Thank God it's Friday. This has literally been the worst week I've had in quite some time.

Critical Massholes take to the streets tonight. And there's also a storm coming in around the same time. 20mph winds, 1.5" of rain.

    Go go storm!

It started out small as a way for people to get together and ride as a group. Now it's become too big. And of course, that'll attract all the bad riders (ones who will drink while cycling, throw their garbage on the street/yard, not ride respectfully of other riders)

Their reason is that bikes have every right to be on a road as a car. True. But the way they're "promoting" it is hurting all cyclist. I'm not associated with that group and never plan to be.

They also now have police at the intersections blocking traffic for. You would find this at a fun ride where people pay an entry and a portion goes to route support. This group pays nothing. Many of them don't live in the city. They just come in, ride around with zero fucks and leave. The city has to foot the bill for the officers to block the intersections of this multi-hour long clusterfuck.

Ugh. You just brought back a flashback of when I got surrounded by them while looking at Christmas lights in river oaks. Thankfully I was able to blind them with my led lights so they would back off. But I was stuck there for about 20-30 minutes while they all gathered.

When I was going north on Yale, they jumped into my lane. Into oncoming traffic.

Some are good riders. But as a whole, it's a mess.

Fucking hate bikers. Lived in Seattle for a couple years and they are everywhere. I personally love it when you pass one ( since they are going 2 mph), flip you off at the light screaming "that was illegal". Then deftly proceed to turn left through a stop light from the right lane headed to the sidewalk while dodging oncoming vehicles. Awesome.

My light was green and they were blocking the intersection. I laid on the horn and slow rolled through them. One guy didn't get the clue and ran into the bed in front of the tire. His bike got drug under the tire.

The bike cops were there and let him know that he ran the red light and hit me, therefore he couldn't press charges.
