What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I should be able to once I get everything where it should be. The faceplate itself is a bitch, so I want to get that knocked out first.

Yes, once I get the final pieces hammered out and test fit I should be putting these up.

 

It's definitely lighter as @0uTkAsT said, I don't have the exact weights. I was so stoked not the see the wiggle anymore after the dealer "fixed" it. As for the price it should be something similar to the 2nd gen price, I'm not looking to spend more than $400 for paint, one shop quoted $800 because he wanted to blend the paint onto the fenders, which I think is not needed since the paint is fairly new! I'll have the discount code soon for those who are interested.

Did the calculations 3 times on my truck and the computer was off only once by .45 mpg's (low).
That was the same tank that it idled for quite a while so it must not calculate correctly when idling.

 

Am I seeing that the end that comes out behind the wheel is cut off ? For what purpose ?

don't know about Aussie, but i've done turndowns for cosmetic purposes. i hate the look of an exposed tailpipe.

Easy Tie Down points for the truck in bed channel system, better than the stock cleats. 2.5" x 3/8" eye bolts, 3/8" fender washer, Steel Spring Nuts (found in the electrical section at Home Depot). Place the spring nut in the channel spring out, the fender washer on the eye bolt and thread. The nut angles in the channel as you tighten. Unloosen to move anywhere along the track. Secure and way better than the plastic Toyota Cleat. Happy anchoring!

 

I hate the old man style exhaust out the side. The chrome tip I had was covered in mud 100% of the time

 

I was gonna do this too. Any negative effects with heat build up, or anything to the spare tire?
