2010 DCSB 4x4. Bought the truck with the Billie 5100's and 265/70/17 a/t's on it. Looks to be on the 2nd or 3rd setting. Looking for an answer on if a 3" lift kit will yield any height difference. Just for reference I'm interested in keeping the 5100's and going with a toytec or OME coil and AAL. Any insight helps. Thanks.

I have OME 887's on 5100's for 3 inches and a rear ICON 1.5 Progressive AAL with rear ICON 2.0 series shocks.

Yeah. Return the 5100's to the bottom setting and get either 885 or 887 OME coils. I've got 885s and 5100s all around and an AAL and it gave me 2.5" of lift

If you're asking if you can go three inches taller than what you're currently sitting at w a 3" lift, probably not. It is not recommended to run OME coils w the billies set any higher that the bottom setting

That's what I've been reading. I've also read they don't recommend using any kind of spacer, however it seems most of the coil kits include a spacer to achieve the full 3"

So go with 887's for the 3 inches no spacer needed

DCLB after settling got a full 3" lift in front with 887's and OME Sport shocks and 2" AAL at the rear. rides nice

My 885's have a 1/4" spacer on the driver side for lean. But I'm at 2.5"image.jpg

What are the differences between the 885 & 887? I've seen the spring rates are the same but one is longer. I'm looking to keep the ride quality as good if not better than it is now.

Right, the 887's are longer same rate as 885's. you get more lift but basically the same ride.
