My biggest problem is my work schedule...working swing shift blows....it's just been bad timing on when I can get out and when others are available. I'm also not a fan of running solo...so it is what is for me I guess.

I think I am free Saturday the 21st. If anyone wants to meet and explore? I need to exercise my Citizen Band radio.

I will try and get a trip to the Red River Gorge after Rock Therapy in the summer. I know the area pretty well and we can wheel as well as see some the arches and cool swim spots ect.... Badlands in Indiana is nice, lots of terrain, you'll be pleasantly surprised at what that park has to offer, approx 3 hrs from Dayton. I'm not a fan of Haspin Acres, but if you want to get dirty its about an hour and change from Dayton. I hear good things about Tar Hollow, but don't know the area, and have heard you have to know where you are going down there. Black Mountain is really cool, but is 5 hrs away in KY. Heard some good things about Redbird in Indiana as well, but never been there. Like the others have said eastern OH has lots of old county roads and such, just have to explore or get up with someone who's been.

I am definitely down for some RRG and Badlands in the summer while I'm in the country.

I will be going to Toyota round up at Windrock at the end of summer as well.. Labor Day weekend I think it is

I hear WindRock is an amazing place. I would go to the roundup but will probably be tapped out for trips this year. I might be going back to Utah and Colorado late summer. I will definitely get to Tennessee in the next year though.

I didn't say I wanted to wheel in the city, I just meant that's my starting point. I've been skimming the thread (awesome thread BTW) and I see a lot of talk about mods, plans, stories of trips in the past and pictures, but no locations. As you've all said, you don't like to talk about fight club so how are us new guys supposed to get into it? Just asking the simple question, looking for some help. Im not out to ruin it for anyone!

There used to be some play areas around Dayton, but most have become shut down due to folks abusing the privilege. Muddy Buddy's Jeep club has some land somewhere south between Dayton and Cincy, but you have to know someone to get out there.
