Go to Coronado Island, rent a bike and cruise around the island on it. It's a great thing to do, you get great views of the city/bridge. Takes about an hour or so. Walk through the Del hotel to soak up some old world atmosphere.

If you want directions let me know.

If you go to Holland's Bikes they have a good range of bikes (cruisers, recumbants, uprights etc) so you should be able to find one that works for her. Or send her off to browse in the local stores whilist you go cycling. Every time I've been to San Diego I've done the bike ride, it's great. Good views, nice architecture, quiet roads etc etc.

There are two of them that I know of. One in Mission Valley Shopping center and one in Grossmont.
They don't actually have the right-of-way but it is permitted (called lane sharing). In an accident, they would probably get the ticket. As for safety, the NHTSB mentioned in the Hurt Report that it is safer to ride between the cars on the lanes than it is to sit in traffic (especially with cell phones nowadays). In stopped traffic, there's a greater risk of being hit from behind than of cars crossing into your lane (since they're stopped).

I've done it myself, though I only do it if the wait is going to be very long. There's generally a lot of room between the lanes (about 1/2 a lane). As long as your speed is reasonable (10-15mph), it's not bad. It just seems weird if you've never done it.

That looks pretty. Thanks for the pic.
Damn!! $140! We'll definitely stay away from their.

There is a multi story Publix(grocery store) in Miami with an escalator for the cart. It has grooves in it and the foot thing above the wheel falls into them. Is it the same thing at that target?

Is Otay Mesa a Hotel?!? For $30 a night?!?

I've heard about the lane splitting. I probably won't be driving but I'll remind my dad. Although he's been out there before and rode the pacific coast highway on a motorcycle so I'm sure he's aware. Good thought though.

    Thanks

Is that the same thing as the Historic District?

Lobster. MMMNNNN. My mom and I love seafood.

Feb 12 about 10:30am through Feb 15 11:00pm. Are there any meets or something that'll go on then?

I'm not sure exactly. My dad has yet to choose a hotel.

I'll be sure to head over there. I love candy. He can teach me ninja shots as well. Does he have an ice cream truck?

I'd just be scared if somebody opened their door or something right in front of me.

My dad may like that. Thanks.
