Hey if anyone can help... I put a ladder rack on my 04 tacoma. It's a v6... my question is if I can add something in the rear to hold more weight. I use this truck as a work truck and have ladders and tools in the back. Add more leaf springs? Thanks for the help

I installed Super Springs and the New Heavy Duty Springs from General Spring.

I have 800 to 1200 pounds in the bed and might tow another 2000.

Mine is pretty much a work truck as well

    Simple 'add-a-leafs' should work

This item will not work for additional load handling, and the general consensus is it makes your stock leaf pack even weaker.

    What hasn't been modified?
I just picked up a set of sumo spring, they replace the bump stops. Similar to airbags but without having to worry about air

Work just fine for me.. and I often load > 1,000 lbs in the bed of my truck. I'm using them to bolster a pair of Wheelers 5-leaf replacement pack (retaining the overload leaf). I disagree with your assumptions YMMV

You're running an aftermarket leaf pack, so not reducing capacity of the factory leaf pack by running it.

    YMMV.

Thats not really true. More leaves will certainly add load capacity and they for sure wont make the pack weaker..

.. removing overload to replace with a 3 leaf AAL reduces load capability.

Leaving the overload in against instructions is fine, but my 3 leaf AAL dropped an inch with 225 lb load and sagged horribly with 700 lbs - with the overload leaf retained.
