Has nothing to do with how much you have in tools. Just how dealerships in general do buisness. Dude I'm not dogging you personally, trust me. I have been where you are. If the dealerships didn't do things the way they do, from the top down. You wouldn't be making that, plus all the service writers, and then the owners are still making bank. I know the game. One of my good friends just opened his own shop, because he was sick of the bologna.

Again, I make a decent living and there is something wrong with that? Everyone should just make minimum wage, eh.

Only a handful of things make my blood boil, and someone calling you a crook after you bust your ass 45, 50, 60 hours a week is one of them.

He isn't calling you a crook. The service writers and owners are. You're a tech, you fix the POS in your bag and go on with your day. You write down what's bad and then give the paper away. I know my boss is a crook because he sells shit cars don't need but I don't care, I just fix the damn thing. Don't get your balls bursting from ole Greg.

And about @MeefZah, he doesn't give a single fuck about what you say about him or his job. Just don't mention his 4Runner on blocks.

I will make a last statement and then I'm done. I'm really not trying to piss you off or argue, so relax. I did not say you should make minimum wage. You were the one who said where else can I make 70+ at 24 years old. Probably not at most places would you make that. But there is a reason they can afford to pay you that. You can be mad, I don't care. It is directed at dealerships, not you. I can go on and on about how several dealerships have treated folks. Not saying it is every one, but they give dealerships a bad name. Is what it is.

    BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
Well THAT escalted quickly! I'm a dealer tech as well for Subaru, I started at an Independent shop and loved the work a lot more then but I made less money, about half to be exact. I'll be honest and say the dealership work sucks only because I do so much warranty and goodwill. We are very good about taking care of our customers though, I refuse to screw someone over or sell them something they don't need.
The dealerships themselves are crooks though in general(not all) and are not only screwing their customers but they also screw their employees whenever they get a chance. I LOVE working for Subaru as a company they are wonderful but my current dealer, meh, not so much. Got some shit going on at work right now that might possibly make me hit the trail with that place, but maybe not, we will see.
