Dumb question... Sorry to ask but my search/Google-fu is not very good.

Does anyone know if there are instructions how to disassemble the 2016 dash and center console? I'm prepping to install a CB and I'm going to need to route wires and the CB unit through those areas. I tried searching online and found plenty of videos for older Tacomas, but none for the 2016.

If this post already exists somewhere, I'm sorry.

I have done it....it's a bitch of a job and a lot of work. I did it to run wires for heated seats. My best advice is to pay for 2 days access to the TIS website. There you'll get detailed pics and the order of disassembly and reassembly.

It's really too much to try to explain or type out.

It's a little old now, but just got Marshmallow so it's like it's all new again. :)

In other news, the ham radio antenna mount I ordered isn't long enough to fit through the Relentless fab hood bracket, so I won't be doing the install this weekend. Will post pics when I do though.

Yeah, I just tried to hook together my Relentless Fab hood bracket and Firestik but they won't work together. The bracket is too short to fit the cable/mounting nut. Looks like I'm left either changing the mount location (truck bed somewhere?) or going at the mount with my dremel/drill. Ugh!

I originally bought a UHF antenna and mount, but they needed a 5/8" hole. The relentless bracket hole is 3/8", and there are 3/8" ham radio mounts so I sent back the antenna and mount but got the wrong mount again since it's too short for the 3/16" thickness of the bracket.

Third time's the charm.... I really don't want to drill into the bracket because of the powder coat, and I like the antenna location on the hood better than anywhere else, just taking me forever to get the right parts since there's no place (that I could find) in Utah that sells all this crap.
