Everyone is fine, no injuries, tacoma wins...sort of, he was rendered immobile, his may be totaled due to the age and mileage

Looks like your tacoma tried to mount the tundra. Need to tell it that is not how new trucks are made.

I was at fault, i t-boned him as he gunned it to try and make a left. he admited he never saw me and was trying to thread the needle through traffic but i never saw him and had the stop sign so... my fault. insurance shouldnt go up, never had an accident in 15 years, at least thats what the adjuster told me

Ah, gotcha...well accidents happen, we've all been there. Good to hear your insurance won't go up! Better yet, no one got hurt.

Don't they just cut you a check for the price of the bumper and labor it'd cost? You could just use that towards the new plate bumper

Well, mine had less visible damage, and the estimate for repairs is $11,051.45. And mine is a 2006.
now at 3 weeks for repairs...

Damn dude, 11 grand?? What was actually damaged? All I can see is a scuff on your bumper...must be an expensive one

Yeah my damage isnt that extensive, just all the front plastics, crash bar, quarter pannels and grill support, no damage to suspension components or anything past the crash bar
