This is true, but for some who may add a bumper or something that may require 2 sets of hands. A mod day would be cool. I would have appreciated it when I installed my bumpers. Those bastards were heavy.

Well, it's that time of year again where we can all hang out, catch up, talk Toyota's, and hopefully get some wheeling planning done!
Ssoo, no major changes from last year. we'll do the same format as before and will meet up at Failte's Irish pub for some eats/drinks or just hang out at the lot with a coffee in our hands.

What time:

Parking lot shindig can start at 11:00 am

Pub service for those hungry and thirsty, all day


I don't know about you guys, but it would be awesome if we can top the 50 or so rigs we had last year! So tell your wives, partners, kids, pets, and neighbors!


Last thing, with the numbers that we've had in the past, wouldn't it be a great idea if we did a little something for a good cause like a food drive? If you agree, just bring a non perishable item and i can collect them at the lot or in the pub and i'll deliver it to a local food bank. http://www.themississaugafoodbank.org
Can't go wrong with a small gesture for a good cause. but by no means is it mandatory. it's all good.

 

I just got word of this today, I'll probably stop by for a bit.

I'll be bringing a set of used oem retrofitted 12-15 morimoto headlights that l never got around to installing if anyone is interested. The bottom tab is missing on one of the lights but other than that they're in pretty good shape. Looking to get $250 OBO

I'm driving back from Peterborough on Sunday if time and traffic permits I'll drop the wife and kid at the mall and come by to shoot the shit.

I see the latest forecast says rain for Saturday thru Sunday... is this still going on rain or shine ?

 

A little rain won't stop the food and whats better than looking at a bunch of glistening trucks in the rain.

hail or shine, I'll be there and a couple of my other folks will also be.

 

Worst case there is a tims we can all hunker down for shelter in as the restaurant opens at 1. If the weather says rain it will be sunny

 

I think it has rained 5 out of 7 years for the SONTT meet and greet. LOL.

this is just a heads up as a friend alerted me to the Mississauga Marathon happening on sunday as well (it starts close to the Mall). But i think we should be good as the earlier road closures right in the vicinity of the Failte's Pub/parking lot/Square One mall area are done by 9 AM!

- City Centre Drive CLOSED from Robert Speck Parkway to Living Arts Drive from 6:30am to 8:00am
- Burnhamthorpe Road West CLOSED from Duke of York Boulevard to Mississauga Road from 7:00am to 8:40am

- if you're getting in later, i'd say avoid getting in from the west OR south west local roads
- from the QEW, looks like you're safe to exit Hurontario and head north to Burnhamthorpe
- from the 403 (and 401), looks like you're safe to exit Hurontario or Mavis and head South to the Mall area/Rathburn road
