Read the LED thread, there are much easier ways to install the bulbs. For map lights, just pull the whole console out....pops right out and bulbs are easy to access...console pops right back in.

Black wheels & predator bars today. I ordered a BPF skid plate also. Can't wait for it to get here.

Installed my Bugflector II and LED bulbs (interior and license plate lights). The biggest challenge was getting my hands under the rear bumper to remove the license plate bulb sockets.image.jpg image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Yeah I hear ya on the license plate bulbs! My bear paws don't fit! How did you pop off the map lights lenses and the middle dome light? Thanks

The dome light has little indentations where you can insert a small flat screwdriver to pop the lens off. The map light lenses have two clips that will pop off if you gently pry from the front and back sides (as opposed to the left and right sides). I just took my time popping the covers off and didn't force too hard. Sounds like it may have been easier to just pop the whole map light surround cover off, but I didn't see that on here until after I finished.

I didn't build it hoping for your approval, I built it because it meets mine!
Nice! I'm gonna be doing the same to an extra pair of lights I have coming in on Monday. What all are you going to do to yours?

You can also just pull the entire console out of the roof and pull the bulbs out of the back. It's only heald in by 4 clips. Way easier.

Yup just pull it down. It will pop right out and you can pull the bulbs out the back.
