The dealer can get what you want. The truck that I got (6SP with Prem/Tech) isn't even allocated in my part of the country by Toyota. Guess what? They ordered it, it got accepted, and I got the only Tacoma like it anywhere around

I'm sure they had the truck allocated with the manual and added the premium tech package. That's what they did with mine.

My sticker price was 36k. I walked out with my truck after tax title and license for 33k. Trust me everything is negotiable you just have to make the sales associate work for you by offering him cash under the table if he you the price you want. I payed my sales associate 200$ under the table because I beat all my marks! I said I wouldn't pay more than 32 and I got it for 32. I would pay a higher interest rate then 2.9 and I got 2.19!

So for the guys that are curious how this ended. Negotiated a deal out on a 2015 TRD Sport Double Cab 6-speed manual the other day. Honestly happy I stuck with the 2nd gen platform. I'll look at the new style in a few years maybe

I'm leaning this way on my next vehicle purchase. Dealerships in my state all have a $400-$650 "processing fee" nonsense that is nothing more than a means for the dealership to stiff the salesperson on commission. Heck, half that "processing" is done by the salesperson, but they don't get commission from the fee.

I plan to say "I'll split any discount below Invoice (or Truecar, whichever is lower) with you 50/50, cash under the table". Most of these guys/gals would jump at the opportunity to undermine their dealership's unfair compensation structure.

That said, the selling price is ultimately in the Sales Manager's hands, so you could just negotiate directly with the sales manager and most likely get the same price if you know how to play the game.

Invoice price will be roughly $32000 plus TT&L. Anybody paying less than that has a trade-in which is figuring into the deal. I did some time in the car business and spent way too much time researching/ finding/ buying my 7545. That said, I got $500 over invoice and I'm now driving exactly what I want.

Lots of good info in the thread above. Just don't forget that there's about $900 on top of any of those prices to get the truck to the dealership. Also most of the trucks will come with the tow package which adds another $600 or so. Tow package is worth the money in my opinion whether you tow or not. The only other option I added were the factory bed lights which are really handy and ran $150.

Tow package includes the following: Class-IV towing receiver hitch, engine oil cooler, power steering cooler, 130-amp alternator, 4- and 7-pin connector with converter, and Trailer-Sway Control (TSC)29 (V6 only)

So I'm interested in a SR5 DCSB 4x4 V6 with the SR5 Appearance Package. Based off that invoice link, to get an estimate of the invoice price, is it $29107 +$757 (pkg including the tow package and upgraded aluminum rims)? What do the +333/+360 next to the truck line item signify?

    Thank you!

The invoice prices went up in May so it is probably the increase over the original invoice price. Maybe the op will clairify that for you.
