I'd prefer a location that let me draw strong side and didn't flash my pistol every time I got out of the truck, but nice write up.

When I started "collecting" I wanted to put together a race gun. Will I ever run it? Maybe not but I sure love to shoot it.
It can thread the needle pretty easily.

So About 1 1/2 years ago I bought a G41 and started the rebuilding.

• KKM threaded barrel
• LoneWolf compensator
• ZEV Tech trigger
• Carver magwell
• Arredondo +4 mag extension for 17 rds
  
• Trijicon green dot RMR
• Titanium safety plunger
• Extended slide lock
• Extended slide stop lever
• Ambidextrous slide racker

This goes to the range everytime no if's and's or but's.



Oh and this one goes too, never mind the ACOG, I put that
on there because a friend wanted to see it on there, lol

 

That's nice. A race gun is what I am doing next. I've hit a wall with my times. I'm currently using a g17 with some trigger work and a cheap magwell.
I'm going to Buds today to get a 34 and sometime soon drop it off at Mod1 and tell him to work his magic on the slide.

 

Bought an ar15 today. Aero precision lower, dpms upper and magpul furniture. Its a blast!

Midway? I picked up a can of 200 black tip 30-06 over the winter, but they weren't in the en-bloc clips; just 20 boxes of 10

 

Nope, locals hop snagged it at an auction and I got it from them. All wwii surplus

 

Shot this one today. No problems at all. Love this gun - have done a lot of work to it and have had lots of work done to it by others. A handfull of 230 gr ball ammo makes you realize how much more lead you're slinging with a 45.

 

What do you all use for ear pro?

 

Foam Earplugs, typically.

 

I used to use foam ear plugs, but got tired of taking them out and putting them back in when talking to people in the pits. I finally bought a pair of electronic ear muffs. Life is good now.

 

Harbor freight ear muffs . Lol

 

Do that have something in them the pre-perforates your eardrums for you?

 

Honestly , they work pretty good. I have some foam ear plugs in case they break somehow .

 

My current indoor range requires both ear plugs and aural covers. It's all fun and games until someone starts shooting a .300 inside.

 

I use in ear plugs but not the expanding type.
I can't stand muffs for long gun shooting.
