My 2016 4x4 AC OR was scheduled to be built a few days ago so should be arriving at dealer "soon", so I was wondering if there is a comprehensive list of things to make sure they check before I leave with it.

All I can remember seeing are the automatic transmission fluid level, check the u bolts, and grease the u joints. Anything else I should have them do?

i would advise your dealer ahead of time what you want done so it will be ready when you go to pick it up. do not spring a tranny fluid check on them when you are there to pick it up.

That's what I plan to do. Did I miss anything in the list of things to have checked?

ATF level using the refill port and overflow hole, NOT just the Scantech gauge. Rear u-bolt torque. Zerk fittings on front and rear drive lines. I was considering buying a '16 myself and have since changed my mind for a variety of reasons. But I was going to have the dealer agree to a sales contract addendum spelling out specifically what I want done. I'm not sure if they would have gone for this or not, never got that far. But here it is if you want to try it.

You yourself need to get in the truck and take it on the highway, get it to go into 5th or 6th (or if you have a manual even better) and hover around 2000/2100-2400 rpm either on flat ground or going up a hill. See if there is a buzzing vibration in the pedals or steering wheel. If there is, really ask yourself if you can deal with that for a while (or possibly for as long as you own the truck).

I asked them to disable my seat belt chime and told me that they are not allowed (dealership policy). So instead they gave me a seat belt extender and told me to cut the strap off and just use the buckle. I do believe that if you have them disable it through the computer any time you disconnect the battery it will turn the seat belt chime back on.
