    I'm just trying to figure out the easiest way to sell my car but be able to keep it for a month longer. I don't want to be turning away buyers but I need the truck till June 15. But I got an offer yesterday for 500 over my asking price. Can you put that in to semi lawyer terms??

    Take half now. Buyer will take delivery on 6-15-16. At which point buyer will pay remaining balance of truck to seller. Truck is being sold as is and seller will make sure to have no new damage to vehicle upon delivery date.

    You can have him pay another $500 more then what you guys agreed to, you sell the truck to him it goes into his name per the bank, you essentially rent it from him and pay back that $500 overage.

    Some stuff here and there....
    You can still go to your bank and deposit the check and give him half back while you have a personal banker notarize the contract you both sign there. Makes it legal contract between you two. Just dont go spending that half you get up front in case something happens to the truck and you need to give it back. You can give him the title to give to his bank since you have a contract
