I didn't build it hoping for your approval, I built it because it meets mine!
Ended up flexidipping the grille mesh. I blame you forum bastards for this.

Also got my spare set of headlights in the mail today. Gonna start on those in a few days hopefully.

If I have time today I'll be installing the OEM roof rack I have sitting in the garage as well.

I'm still painting it. Only about 6 light coats of black in. Gonna do a few more then I'm gonna hit it with a half dozen or so coats of clear to prevent the coating from going grey in the sun and mud.

I'll post pics when I'm done

Nice! Now how about some great body graphics for both TRO and SR5's rentrop?

So what speakers did you use? Add an amp? Noticeable difference after the change? Inquiring minds would like to know...

Well... Today I had planned on mounting my the 275/70R17 tires I ordered to the Method NV's I ordered from 4wheelparts. Took the 4 boxed rims to discount tire to have them mounted and interestingly enough one of the rims wasn't the same as the other. So much for that.. I didn't want to wait for return ground shipping, and then ground shipping back so I paid for and ordered another rim and I'll wait for their return label to mail the Method Hole back to them and just wait on a credit.

Rubbing my eyes! Am I seeing this right that you removed the lens cover from the headlight housing? If so how, used an oven to heat it up so you can separate? Details please!

... ^^^ ... You took my drill and Klein screwdriver  ... :D

Thinking of doing exactly what you did. I have a SR5 with Sirius w/o JBL (basically mid grade receiver unit with Sirius).

What unit did you have behind the dash ? What speakers did you use as replacement ? Was it easy, blah, blah ??

Wanted to change speakers to see how they sound and then maybe a receiver unit and maybe do both at same time.

Any suggestion on on project ... OR ... any suggestions from others on this project.

I am open to any suggestions on this project.

Thanks for any advice ... :D

Wet-Okole Seat Covers! Had them in Hawaii, can't beat them in my opinion! :)

@drjohn you can probably tuck the bottom of the seat covers into the plastic piece for a cleaner look. Just run the nylon strap right through there. 3rd gen may not be possible but I'd be surprised. Nice truck. IMG_1453.jpg

Ditto! I'll look into that! With the stereo system on passenger side I had to remove seat! Cool color!

also.. I don't see a slit on the side of your seat covers for the airbag - does the 3rd gen not have one of those?

The biggest improvement you can make is adding amplification and sub woofer! I also went with JL Speakers. Incredible sound. Sub was the major improvement! Good luck!
    There on the inside?

There should have been a little tag sewn onto the side of the seat near the seatbelt pillar. 2016-Toyota-Tacoma-1.jpg

So it looks like they put them on the wrong side? There are sits but to the inside. Worth looking into! Thx!
