Yeah switch the tops around. the airbag pops out the side near the seatbelt pillar.

Toyota's attention to safety is a long-standing tradition, and the 2016 Tacoma is no exception to this rule. It is complete with all the necessary airbags, including Dual-Stage Driver and Front Passenger, Front Seat-Mounted Side Airbags and Roll-Sensing Side Airbags.

If that thing went off under your seat cover it may make a collision even more interesting.

    ... ^^^ ... Thanks ... that helps a lot.

Now I need to check a DIY video on a unit and speaker swap.

Always concerned on dash and panel removal and breaking any hidden dash or door panel clips.

Complete Kicker audio system (4 channel amp, mids and tweets in the front, 2 ways in the back, 2 10 inch comp rt subs, Zxsum8, alpine pdx 1.600 boxes and amp rack by Mr Marv), Pop & Lock, Mobtown locking bed storage doors, Bilstein 5100s, Katzkin Leather interior, Redline Hoodstruts, Backflip.
I have it all in my signature below. It sounds so much better than stock. It is a full kicker system from door speakers to subs. Pm me, I would be happy to help you out. I'm going to be crating a build thread soon too with pics. Just haven't had time because of finals and shit.

This is probably the best video that shows how to take the doors apart for speaker installs. Subs are a different story unless you go with their system.

So, Toyota finally has new programming for the shift pattern? My dealer didn't know of any? Did they update yours? How does it feel?
Who is your dealer and in what city?

Wow guys... Fellow Taco driver AND sales guy at a Toyota store in OK.... Just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean you need to bash the profession. I'm sure if I had a bad experience at a place where you worked I wouldn't assume that everyone that does that job is a terrible person.

I didn't build it hoping for your approval, I built it because it meets mine!
Finally done. Grille turned out about 98% perfect. Have maybe 3-4 tiny areas where the dip lifted while peeling the masking tape but they aren't really noticeable at all.

    Mostly stuff I built.
Love the idea of plenty of extra switch blanks and the plans look great.
What are you planning on doing with the horizontally mounted cargo light switch, power inverter and clutch cancel switches? I believe the inverter and clutch switches are the shorter switches.
One that is the same as stock on he lower part with the additional blanks on top would be more install friendly me thinks.
