An unfortunate thing came up financially and will need to sell my FJ case I just purchased last week 4/18 ish. "FJ case" came out of a low mileage 2011 auto 4 Runner. They are the same, do your reserch! I'm not going to do the swap any time soon. I got it for $440ish, I'm asking $400, I will provide receipt which will have a 1 year warranty. Local pickup
Please don't try to talk price! I'm motivated to sell it but am firm on the price. Due to size and that it's a drive train part with some fluid still in it prefer local pickup
Edit: I did a bunch or reserch and was excited to put it in and ordering a marlin dual case (which wount happen

I have a post for my HP 60 which I lowered the price on and hopefully sell. This is most of the drive train parts you need for a SAS (not most part) just drive train, you need a lot more than a t case and axle :)

Did this come out of a manual or auto? I wasn't sure if the 'manual' in your title was referring to this question or not.

Also, I'd be interested but only if you can ship it. Just for reference, which T4R models have the same t-case as the FJ? I know some use a different one but I can't make heads or tails of the model config's on the T4R.

-Auto, the only way to go. I was reffering to a manual shift t case
    - supposedly out of an SR5, (not from a all time AWD) limited and other fancy models will have a different t case
-I didn't select from what model to get it from, the wreking yard looked up compatibility in reference to an FJ and then I did reserch to confirm
    - I don't think it's worth your while for me to ship, you can get a local wreking yard to price it we'll enough and shipping for them is cheaper than it would be for me. For local sale it would be worth it! Yard showed me pictures and the 4Runner had 80k if I remember and is really clean

Cool. Let me know if you strike out on the local pickup and change your mind about shipping. I did a 4x4 conversion and put a stock taco t-case in and the electronics have been a pain. I should have just went straight to the FJ box.

    Thanks again.

What are you having a problem with? What part of the electronics? I also have a front Taco diff with mid shaft (?? ) I can sell if you need
I found out in reserch on the t-case that you can get a all time AWD from a 4Runner extension tube for the feont diff which doesn't have the actuator in the axle extension so you will not need so much electronics. I didn't get all the info but makes sence. There are a lot of resources on here

I didn't not to get the 4wd computer cause it was too much $$$$. So I came up with a fully electromechanical relay circuit to shift the tcase. I wired up the front diff like RST suggested to a DPDT switch. It all worked fine for awhile then I burned up the front diff actuator. Then lead me to think I should just delete all the electronics.

I hear guys have problems with that when messing with that actuator. I'd swap your extension with a AWD one! Before I found out how expensive and hard to find the actuators are I let my old one go (free) with my stock diff when I re- geared my truck. I found a complete diff from a 4Runner at pick n pull of all places almost a year ago, that wount happen again :)

Nah.. it's not too bad, it's also great if you do a crawl box or want to do a SAS to make the transfer case simple when you get rid of the front diff actuator
It's definitely not for the guy that can't even change his oil without YouTube..ing how to do it :)

I completely understand.... You said, "Gerblitzit fogggel bottom."

... makes sense to me to take apart a perfectly engineered vehicle, and then make it what it should be.

    Have at 'er.

Ha ha.. yeah, about the engineered part... that would mean we should leave these truck with 31/32" tires and not lift them... I guess I ruined the structural engineering on the truck when I did this:20150123_123215.jpg

Plate it back it, it'll be fine! Kudos dude, it takes balls to do that! Not being sarcastic.

Wish I could pop on this T case. I'd love to have a second shifter in my console!

It's hard to start hacking a perfectly good truck and most people wouldn't want to mess with the stock design.. but it's how I have fun. If I had the $$ I'd do a lot more. Playing cost money
