Tires, soon to be shocks, bushings, and bull bar. No lift, not needed.
No lockers sadly, and with this rain this week it might make that side more challenging, even if we do chose our lines right. With me not being too experienced, I'll take a look before I try.

I surprise myself sometimes how little that I actually need 4wd. And not having experience is overcome one way. Getting out and doing. Not saying you have to do this, but it is how you learn. I just started this off roading stuff about a year and a half ago. And I only go about 4 times a year. Starting to happen more often lately though

Yeah, I did hit some property not too long ago and was extremely satisfied with how the truck performed. Just switching the streets for All terrains makes a world of difference. I think where I need to focus is on front suspension and making sure everything upfront is above par. With 2wd, I'll have to hit almost everything faster and harder to to keep momentum which from my little experience, is one of the biggest things to keep in mind with offroading (as well as the lines of course). Can't wait to actually test it a bit this weekend then hopefully be ready for a meet later in the summer after a few more mods if I can afford it. I've missed a few awesome freebies on here apparently.

Yeah good luck. And I wouldn't be able to make this one anyway unfortunately. We have a meet here though next week and I have some boating party trips that weekend.

So this past weekend's trip was a success! I only got stuck one time. Is it a secret that there are tons of little 4x4 trails coming off the FS roads? or are they just off limits? My buddy and I found tons just off Winding Stair Gap alone. We started down one and saw that 4wd was definitely needed and that's where I got stuck, but there were plenty of other trails I feel I could have made it up/down but with no way of knowing where they went (couldn't find them on any map) nor did we know 100% that somebody wouldn't ride up on us on a 4wheeler with a shotgun so we just stuck to the main dirt roads, which had amazing views and great trail riding. Didn't even hit Tray mtn because we slept in so late and had fun on the trails. Probably hit that area next time or just go on up to Tate.

Whoops! The phone stayed in the glove box most of the time but here's some campspot shots from Jones Creek and a little trout my buddy caught. At least we got a little muddy :bananadance:. Also, yes, my buddy's entire xterra is plastidipped and it is awesome. Need to go with a 4wd next time so we're not pussy footin so much.
