What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Mostly stock. I plan to swap headlights, satoshi grill (maybe) and put a camper shell. This is my weekend warrior rig.
Today, I Changed oil to mobil 1 5w30 full syn, replaced driver side weather strip, then gave it a good wash, and wiped all outer trim, including weather strip with UV protectant.

 

so whats your thoughts of radflows (http://www.radflo.com/moto/default), just wondering as i had them on my old nissan titan and i loved them...

 

I have a friends with a Nissan and he likes em too. Everyone else I know...terrible.

So many better options.

Thanks! Amazingly, it's the original paint job. There are some nicks and scratches on it, to be sure, but not many!

 

Got the RTT back on, just about ready for some exploring and camping.

Yup.

And doing some R and R on it, wire wheel the rust from last years gouges, prime the bare spots, then paint.

You are the one I got the idea from gonna replace with a bed mat, and eventually when I have a welder cut out the rust holes and bed line it. Just don't want to bed line it with the fiber glass patches I got in right now

Don't buy a bedmat.

Go to Tractor Supply or your local feed/farm store and get a rubber stall mat. TSC has 4ft wide rolls for like $5 a foot.

 

So I went from the 60/40 bench to Corbeau's a while back and have been wanting a center console. Does anyone know if the 01-04 console will fit seamlessly with the 99 manual front console with the crappy cup holder on the right side???

 

Not today but on Friday I changed spark plugs and ordered new pads and rotors. Nothing exciting, I know.

Also had my whining noise diagnosed as my idler pulley I guess. So that's going to be changed soon.

 

Yes, all components are all interchangeable and mixed. The 01-04 center console will just attach via those two screws on the side of the shifter trim.

Take a picture of what you have just to confirm though.

Had the same whining noise...changed the idler pulley and gone....easy to do as well

 

So I am stumped.
I have stock 265/70/16 tires installed on some newer TRD rims 2013ish era.

I am getting frame rub at full turn.

Would this be solved with some wheels with better spacing (SCS?)
