Dielectric grease would be a good option, just make sure not to get it inside the seals and on the connectors.

I saw someone use electrical tape on theirs, and I plan to do the same on mine one of these days.

I just used the grease after replacement. Also ziptied them so water does not drip 'down' into the plugs

I just got these sent to Toronto, Ontario. Paid an extra $32 for customs/duty. Very easy install and I'm a goof with these things. Only need a long flat head screwdriver to pop clips. I got the flexbeam for headlights and Cree for the fogs. Unfortunately one of the fogs were damaged in shipping. Opt7 didn't protect them in any way, but I still blame USPS.
Waiting to hear how to get a new one. I have 3 gorgeous lights on my truck! lol.

I went with $32 Cree option I'm not so impress, because just running them they seem not as bright as the $99 headlight option. In fact when the headlights turned on it pretty much cancel out the fog lights beam. Is anyone having to same problem? Im thinking I should of purchase 3rd set on the $99 to put in the fog slots. :-(

Hey, I just purchased and installed the OPT7 headlights and fogs....

Does anyone else have an issue where the DRL doesn't work unless the fogs are on?

Also are your fogs much brighter than the low beam headlights?

Anyone having issues with moisture in any of the housings? I installed HID's on my 2nd gen and had a moisture issue in the fog light housings. Hoping these won't be problematic on my 3rd gen

Just installed mine tonight. Didn't follow the instructions and the lights didn't work. Need to be sure to use the adapter and follow instructions lol. Easy install and light quality is much better. Doesn't really seem like much more visibility but like the light quality, similar to my 15 STi I traded in.

Hey guys, everyone doing pretty good with those so far? Car accident broke my HID's and I've been wanting to switch to LED anyways and I found these on Amazon.

Also, do you guys know if these come in 5k? I'm afraid if I get 6k they'll be too blue. I want pure white.

And are these Hi/Lo bulbs? I'm in a 1st gen so I need a hi lo bulb.

Amazon has not updated the parts list for the 16's yet, so don't go by what the giant online bookstore says.
