You could always split them the old fashioned way.

Actually, I've got a plan on how to fix it without access to a torch for heat. Cut the web where it collapsed to release the top plate of the beam. Hydraulic jack between the top & bottom plate to get it as straight as possible along with a few BFH's. Box in all in with new steel. Weld 'er back up.

    Sounds like work...

    It just keeps getting better...

A couple of weeks ago I had several windows delivered from HD. These are special order combination units. So I've been staining and finishing each one by one. I get to the last one, and the sash is damaged. There's a small hole in the box that was placed against the wall when the boys dropped off the window. Because they were all stacked against each other, I opened the top and verified measurements and no broken glass. This one had the outside facing me and being at the bottom of the stack I failed to look at the inside of the window. If it were going to be painted it wouldn't be a big deal but these are to be stained and the damage will stick out like a sore thumb. Called HD and they said I have to go in and speak with someone about it...

The guy at the garden store helping me load the truck just said "it's a pretty truck, but is not a real truck you know that right?"

Thanks to Scott (ERMB) for the deal on the tires and rims and for taking a tire from my unexpectedly growing collection...

I'm here, Middleton. I did not realize TW had a local chapter. 2 weeks ago traded in my 2012 SR5 access cab for a 2016 TRD Sport 4X4 with premium audio and tow pkg. so far have added access bed cover, bed mat, 4" nerf bars (black), replaced all interior lights with LED bulbs, just ordered mud guards and LED back up lights. any other Mod suggestions are welcomed.

    Hey Gary,
So we 'meet' again. The Accesss cover from your '12 is working out great on my '09 Sport. Maybe you'll get some ideas on transporting fishing kayaks. I just added a couple tie downs to the front of the bed that your '16 comes with. Cheers.

I quit my job 3 weeks ago. I already had one lined up though. Good luck. I left a 20 year union job as the shop steward also. First week at the new place was great.

Anybody have access to Subaru Factory service manuals? Looks like I'm going to be replacing a CV/or the boot on the 2013. Can't find any write ups and I'm not familiar with the whole set up and what bolts to pop off, without dicking up my alignment. Subaru forums suck on anything newer than 2000 not a single write up to be found.

Sometimes you gotta do what's best for your sanity--best of luck. What's your skill set if your don't mind me asking, maybe there's someone I know that can help with that search
