Believe it is intended to improve mileage. Haven't tested difference yet.

I did the install myself at a hobby shop so I could use their power tools and lift. I have very minimal experience wrenching and I didn't think it was difficult since I had access to power tools. The only issue I ran into was bringing getting the lower control arm to align back with the lower ball joint. I had to use a ratchet strap and floor jack while my truck was on the lift. Also, the instructions didn't mention anything about marking the alignment so you can get everything close to how it was before you installed the lift. I guess it shouldn't matter too much since you need to do an alignment once the lift settles. I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, let me know.

The wire in question benefits from removing it from its tie-in point, meaning where the loom is secured to the seat bottom. This little bit of extra slack allows the wire to route through a cut out in the Clazzio.
I would remove the seats again. It is very straight forward. The toughest part was figuring out how to release the air bag wire connecter. Hint: if you remove the air bag connectors (still connected) from the seat bottom retention point, the connectors seperate easier. I hope I wrote that clearly...

This is my first truck and first vehicle I've ever modded, so something like dual batteries sounds pretty foreign to me. Having an additional battery to power an audio system does make sense though. I'm mostly curious where it all fits under the hood.

Cool and welcome to tw, and to having a really nice truck. Click on that hyperlink I included in my other post and you will see tons of pic of the setup from the company who built it.

In addition to finishing up my Clazzio project, I removed the chrome emblems and added the vinyl TACOMA letters on the tailgate. I also retorqued the rear u-bolts and found one of them slightly loose. And then I waxed it again because I can't help myself... Good stuff!

They mainly are used in an overland/expedition type trip where you're off road or in the woods/bush/desert for extended periods of time. One or two days they are usually not required (depending on what your running for accessories at night)

The main purpose is to have the accessories (lights, fridge, compressor, winch, etc) run off the secondary battery. The reason for this is that when the truck is shut off at night or during other periods the power draw is only from the secondary battery. It will not drain the starter battery leaving you stranded or drawing the voltage down to low killing the battery.

They can also be setup to be used to jump start your vehicle, low voltage cutoff, automatic relays which isolate the systems when you shut the vehicle off or connect the systems so they are both being charged after 5 mins or so.

The off-grid systems are probably the cleanest secondary battery system I've seen on the market. I've helped installed one or two custom setups myself and it was a pain trying to sort out what I needed, finding dual battery trays that would fit, cutting and soldering wires/etc. Tou could probably do it for less, but it is a quality system, that is well thought out. Tie this in with a set of switches or even better a switch block and you can easily add accessories to the vehicle that are isolated and run off the secondary battery system. I have no hand/interest/benefit to the company, just recognize the work he has put into the system and appreciate his setup. I know I'll be adding one hopefully this summer/fall to my build.

I didn't build it hoping for your approval, I built it because it meets mine!
    Thank you
I used flexidip because the local Home Depot only had the clear coat for the flexidip. This was my first time "dipping" anything but not my first rattle can project.

Put my hat in the White corner haha! I think it might be the reflection of the garage that is giving it the Quicksandish look.
