Just wanted to give the guys/gals a heads up. I went to the dealership yesterday to have the tranny checked. This is what they found.

It was 9/10 of a quart low. So they double checked a second time. And there was a software update for some kind of delay in the shift pattern
    FYI.
My truck was made in Mexico and has the tow package(external tranny cooler).
And driving it was a night and day difference afterwards.

They told me about the shift update but they said mine had already been done. It's like getting a whole Nother truck. It feels really good. The dealer was, Summit Toyota in Akron Ohio . They also said although a TSB was not made yet on the transmission issue being low on fluid, they where told to look for the problem in the last corporate meeting.
    Just a heads up.

Washed my truck today and found what looks to be a rust spot on the bottom of the drivers door. It seems to be under the vinyl covering that they put on the bottom of the doors. Any ideas if this could be anything other than rust, or I should do.

Edit: The truck has 500 miles on it as of today.

Likely industrial fallout. Clay bar will remove it quickly.

I am assuming I will have to remove the vinyl cover? has anyone done this? Sorry for all the questions.

OK so I ended my day with one more simple mod. Let me know what you guys think. I used the remainder of a rattle can which was "gloss khaki" color of rust-oleum found at home depot if you were wondering.

I will be getting it checked out this week. Really hope that it is not that serious. I will post back with my(their) findings.

I like it. Add color to a bland engine bay. Just wonder how long it will stay nice looking in that hot environment.

From a couple of the pics it looks like the dakars gave you a lot of rake, did you get before and after measurements? Great lift.

From this angle it looks level.

I didn't build it hoping for your approval, I built it because it meets mine!
    Looks pretty good!
Is the color pretty close to quicksand?
I was thinking about grabbing a few cans and doing my gauge bezel and maybe a few other interior pieces. Still on the fence though

I'd get with their customer service. Apparently they are the best LEDs out there for our new trucks.

It's pretty close of a color. I wouldn't paint something which is right next to the actual Quicksand color. I did the TRD emblem in my mesh grill with the rattle can.

I have sent a warranty return request, waiting on RMA. I'm probably the ONLY person on here that's had an issue. Just my luck
