Polyurethane Radiator Support Mounts (Cab Also)

In the sense of keeping up with acronyms and all this new age lingo bullshit, I am a fossil. Outdated, with ko desire to keep up. Lol. I know you are older than me, but you obviously are better with all the lingo and whatnot.

 

I don't mean frame deformations, I meant body only. You forget I do all the maintenance and mods on my truck. I know exactly what the stuff looked like before I worked on it, and any stress or cracks which you might be concerned of do not exist on mine, even after all trips, hard runs, etc. Etc.

I can't speak for others trucks, only mine, and I beat my shit up. By no means have I been easy to it.

The rad supports are super easy to spot cracks and splitting where do you look for the kind of stuff Jeff is decribing? He making sense, if you got a body lift I guarantee the spacers would be within an 1/8th of an inch same height, if not identical

Dude, so do I and even I couldn't spot it. I would be willing to bet you have frame and body damage with the way you abuse your truck.

 

When I was at the body shop he showed me along the top of the rad support, teeny little bulges barely noticeable to the eye, I didn't even know I had them, they looked natural. The guy straight up told me he couldn't really do much for me but still wanted to show me what was wrong, so it wasnt just bullshit to get my money.

My rad support has been cracking and splitting since I first bought the truck. Dead serious. The rad support is just about a loss on mine at this point and I have no desire to want to continue to try to save it or mod it.

As for the rest of the front end, which would be the hood, hood latch, fenders, inner fender wells and firewall. Not a single crack or deformation in sight while running these.

So you are confirming that you already have damage to the rad support, how would you even know if you are exaggerating it. You huck the shit out of your truck and blast through shit that LT trucks probably slow down for, and then want to come on here and tell people to install shit incorrectly because "I don't see any damage"

 

The only body damage I have, is radiator support panel damage. The entire front of it is split and just cracked to shit. No question about it. The rest, is good, unless you want to count where my tires self clearanced themselves on the inner fender wells long before this mod.

 

You're really not helping your fight here. We know your truck is messed up, hence why I never trust any measurements you provide shit is so tweaked already, it can't be used as an OEM reference point.

 

FFS has been around for a decade or longer? Yeah no, I'm not tracing on that one at all.

There has been long damage to the rad support. I have been talking about it long before this thread. I'm pretty sure I also mentioned it in this one.

As for telling people to install shit incorrectly because I don't see any damage, I have been tracking my body and it's damage well before I installed this mod and have been tracking it after the mod as well. The situation has not worsened since, not up or down or anywhere else where damage has never existed. Thats my point. FFS!!!!

I would tryst nothing on your truck as an OEm reference point because of how much stuff you've jury-rigged or broken or tweaked TBH.

 

So you're an expert on body damage now? Because, again, pretty sure I did the same shit to my Prerunner that you have on your truck and there was plenty of visible body damage, but plenty that wasn't except to the trained eye. So 'track' away, but there's still shit happening I guarantee it.

 

Either that or your rad support is so fucked that it's past the point of deforming/breaking and won't deform anymore. Again, shit on your truck can't be used as a reference point
