After going through all 80 some pages of this thread, I have to say that this is basically exactly what I want my 2016 MGM TRD Off-Road Double Cab Long Bed to look like when done. Hope you don't mind. It's perfect.

I think I read somewhere on here that you did the Old Man Emu lift? I had and OME suspension lift on my '99 Taco a while back and loved it. For a lifted rig, it felt pretty close to stock suspension, but when I went off-road (the length of Baja multiple times) it really stood up.

What are your thoughts about your current OME suspension setup compared to stock on the 2016? I have to say that as of now, I'm really liking the stock suspension. Got into some fairly serious dirt yesterday and I was pretty pumped on how it felt.

Also, FN Six Shooters with 265/70/17 wrapped in KO2? Just making sure I get everything right. We'll probably have identical trucks besides the long bed and I ordered the raised, MX canopy from ARE. Looks kinda goofy, but the added headroom when I'm sleeping in there (and for fishing rods and surfboards) will be nice. Gonna do the SR grille too. Too easy!

Thanks for your time! Love your truck!

I ordered the same canopy. Any other photos? You like it? How's the color match? THANKS!

Two weeks old. Lots of goodies on it already, and a few more to come. Most important feature? That third pedal.....

What did you do to your shift knob boot? i've seen the mod to make it look good without the chrome ring but yours is different and i think i likes it.

It's actually a temporary "Fix" until I can get either a new shift rod, or someone to machine a spacer sleeve for me. (hint, it's a sleeve made out of "damping" material..... :)

The OME suspension is great. I opted for the higher valved 90000 shock as opposed to the 90021 shock. I went with this shock because of my truck being a double cab, but I think the 90021 would make for a softer ride. I will probably go to the 90021 after these are worn out. If you plan on adding a bumper or winch, or regularly have a truck full of adult passengers, I would go with the 90000 shock. It will stand up much better in off-road situations when carrying weight. Also, airing down a bit will get you closer to the stock feel on pavement, but expect a hit on the fuel economy. When my tires are warm, the truck rides best at about 32 psi, which means somewhere around 25 psi cold. You probably won't be airing down that much with 90021 shocks.

My tires are 275/70R17's, not 265's
And yes, 17 x 8 Konig Six Shooters

Wish I had a long bed! I'm 6' 3" so sleeping in the back is not an option unless it's with the gate down.

You have any more picture further out of the running boards? I'm thinking about getting the same ones for my DCLB and would like to see what a couple more pics before I pull the trigger. Thanks
