True. Not sure if you guys ever carried the OEM floor mat around. It's big, floppy, and hard to handle even with two hands. That's what my girlfriend said the other night too.

I'm a fan of the idea of killing thieves as much as the next Patriot, so don't get me wrong, but:
    1. Let's be honest, you aren't going to shoot someone for stealing something knowing the law will put you away for it and
    2. With a sticker like that on your truck, they'd also know you have a bunch of valuable guns to steal when you're busy at work being an actual productive member of society.

When you have a handful of stuff it is easier to push a button than put the key in, and i am constantly in and out of the tailgate, it was only expenisve because they had to run the wires through the truck.

That is so ridiculous. I have no idea why someone would do this. Is there a big market for tailgates that need new back-up cam wiring?

Like zero sense in my mind.

    Confirmed.

They probably took it over to the Burnside bridge and made it into a camp chef.

I was just saying in general, Jeremy. Everyone has their own reasons for buying something. When I was younger, I actually had to get up to change the channel on the TV. Unheard of today.

I buy things I need. I have insurance to cover theft of my things.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
It's always the white trucks, man. You can probably buy it off them from Craigslist?

When you do the pipe clamp mod make sure you turn the clamp so that it can only be loosened from underneath the bumper. Also: installing large washers on the cables helps to keep those from coming off without removing half the hardware that holds the gate on.

    Sorry for your loss, OP.

Hard to understand why - most often I guess there is no why.

Thinking best bet to offer to buy it back from the thief on the spot - cheaper, less stressful too.

(Seriously) for a while, when new - 2011 - I simply removed it.

    and yes, I do have a S & W.
