I want to look at tires today and i was looking at the bfg km2's and the guy said they were like ice skates in the snow and i was wondering if this was true. If you could list some other mt's and your experiences with them.

dont have much experience with MTs, But have alot of good things about the Hankook MT's in the snow. They are sapose to be an awsome tire in the snow and all around. Havent heard much about the BFGs in snow.

Yep! So do my BFG A/T's...
If I dont have it in 4wd my tires suck in the hard pack snow, and anything over 4-5 inches, they cake up really well and dont clean out well, so they become like slicks.
I would go with the Duratrac's if your ganna be in alot of snow.

hi tig1 calling-i bought the michelin x-ice lat. an i have to say that i am not happy with them.there rated as best in north america, but they ride the snow real bad and there's not much for ice.when it comes to tires watch the hipe!
