Its really a question of short vs. shorter here. They can both haul the same shit for the most part. If the spatial intelligence is strong in you, get the short bed. If not, get the long bed.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but I'm pretty confident what you just said made absolutely no sense.

OP are you planning to go off road at all? If so, the shorter wheelbase of the SB will benefit you. Plus then if you want sliders they're cheaper

Allow me to translate. "The shortbed has a tighter turning radius, which as a result, you will not need to perform a U-turn at an airport. Also, my english is terrible."

DCSB for the break over angle. I like to off road. If I wanted a truck to haul stuff I would have bought a full size.

Agree, if your buying a tacoma, well just flip a coin on bed length. If its a conversation, well maybe you should be in a bigger truck, just my feeling. Yes, its different for some but again my opinion. You always have to end on that statement before people argue on your opinion.

People are saying only the TRD Sport comes in a long bed.

I think the OP just posted the question to get everyone fired up, and then disappeared.

I thought you were referring to the TRD Offroad which can now be had in a DCLB version in the 3rd Gens

Not sure anybody said you couldn't get a TRD Sport in DCLB

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I know a lot of people who say the extra back-seat space is more valuable than the extra 1' of bed box.

All I know is double cab long beds look odd in my eyes. My short bed has always served me well.

To me, a DCLB looks quite a bit better stock, and much better when lifted. I like being able to pack an ATV and all my camping gear in the bed with the gate up. The only time I use four wheel drive is in the sand or snow so I don't need a locker and I don't do trails where a shorter wheel base would benefit me. Easy decision

Not really. We are talking about Tacomas here if you noticed.

The fact is you can load more crap in a long bed Tacoma than in a short bed. If it is not important to you, fine. But to suggest that anyone who prefer long bed should buy a full size instead is just nonsense.
